Texas police were in stable condition after being shot after a person suspected of opening a shooting at a Texas business park mid-Thursday afternoon, killing one and injuring five others. Texas state said.
The soldier is in serious condition. But firm and the suspect was detained, NBC 5 learned.No more details about the shooting and arrest of the suspected gunman have been released.
Brian Buske Police Chief Eric Buske said shortly before 5pm CDT that the person they believed to be employees of Kent Moore Cabinets appeared at the company headquarters and began filming near a warehouse.
One died at the scene, while five were hospitalized with gunshot wounds ̵1; four of them in critical condition. A sixth person is hospitalized after suffering from asthma.
According to Buske, the gunman disappeared by the time officers arrived at the warehouse shortly after receiving the first call at about 2:30 p.m.
The motive for the shooting was not yet confirmed.
Police Lieutenant Lt. Jason James Bryan said during an informal press conference Thursday afternoon that the scene was safe and that the witnesses were interviewed.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), earlier this afternoon, vowed to combat the actions of the Biden executive by making Texas a second amended state, issued a statement further. On Thursday afternoon after learning to shoot mass shooting
“I have worked closely with the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Rangers as they assist local law enforcement in the swift response to this criminal activity. He led to the arrest of a suspect shooting the state to provide assistance in some way. Needed to help prosecute the suspect, Cecilia and I pray for the victims and their families and the injured law enforcement while arresting the suspect. Abbott said.
