Katherine McPhee is back on stage for “American Idol”.
The singer-actor, 37, won runner-up at the fifth season of the singing competition, losing to Taylor Hicks.

The ‘AMERICAN IDOL’ contestants performed on stage, received their transportation during the referee̵7;s criteria.
The two performed “I’m Your Baby Tonight” by Whitney Houston together, although 19-year-old Wray was unfamiliar with the song prior to their rehearsal.
“We were going to sing Whitney Houston’s ‘I’m You Baby Tonight’, which I heard you didn’t even know, which brought me to tears because that’s how young you are,” the “Smash” actress joked.
The performance stunned the referee who charged at both of them.
“The two of you are together, I told you and complimented each other,” said Lionel Richie, “… together it makes it look like you’ve been doing it for a hundred years.”
