Apple discontinues Space Gray iMac accessories exclusively for purchase ‘Until the stock is sold out’

After the iMac Pro discontinuation earlier this year, Apple is now slashing sales of Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad and Space Gray Magic Mouse. These accessories were first introduced exclusively for the iMac Pro when they were released in 2017 and Apple began selling separately in March 2018.

In the Apple Online Store, Apple now states that the Space Gray Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad will be available “until supplies run out.” Apple did not notify a timeline that supply may run out. But we expect it to be sooner than later. MacRumors Saw this change earlier today

One thing to note is that the Space Gray Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad are still available on Amazon, often for a lower price than Apple. Of space gray for Apple accessories, such as the popular Satechi Slim W1

.

With the new M1 iMac released last month, Apple also released a new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, as well as a colorful and slightly redesigned version of the Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse. However, these accessories are only sold with the M1 iMac and are not sold separately.

The fact that these space gray accessories will be discontinued doesn’t mean future iMacs won’t be available in space gray, but we expect the space gray iMac. Future Arrays will include the latest accessories with Touch ID and other changes, whether that’s temporary bad news for Space Gray MacBook users.

In the meantime, you can head over to Apple’s online store to purchase these accessories while they are out of stock, or head to Amazon to find Apple’s Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpads on sale.
