Just when you thought CES 2021 didn’t deliver too much in the Chromebook front, ASUS showed up and broke the door with three new Chromebooks for next year. Two are rocking Intel’s latest 11-generation Tiger Lake processors and the first from ASUS with an AMD Ryzen processor inside. Take a look at ASUS ‘cool and cool Chromebooks for next year. Let’s see what was announced.
ASUS Chromebook CX9
First up is the ASUS Chromebook CX9, a premium Chromebook through and through, the company̵
7;s newly released ExpertBook B9 Chrome OS variant that runs Windows.The device is ASUS’s most premium Chromebook to date and. It comes packed with all the bells and whistles you’d expect in top-of-the-line hardware, thanks to ASUS ‘trademark NanoEdge screen, 2.2-pound lightweight chassis, premium materials, and a slim 16mm profile giving this device a look. ASUS Chromebook Flip C536
The following devices are the spiritual successors of the Flip C434 and C436.Although known in some regions as the Flip CX5, ASUS once again uses the Flip C536 model name in most regions. Replace ASUS’s previous formula with a 15.6-inch design for convertible Chromebooks. This is ASUS ‘first foray into a convertible of this size, so it will be interesting to see it in person, while the CX9 appears to be hitting the market for creatives and professionals alike. But this version is aimed at a younger audience with the entry “Stadia and GeForce NOW Compatibility”.
ASUS says it’s stylish to appeal to people who love a minimalist look and it’s great for personal or work use. The interior uses a “obsidian velvet” finish and the outer part is covered with a ceramic finish, giving this Chromebook a uniquely minimalist aesthetic that’s straightforward and stellar.

ASUS Chromebook Flip CM5.0
Finally, ASUS has also released a Chromebook that isn’t part of their “on-stage” video, but it does. What appears to be a Chromebook similar to the ASUS Chromebook Flip C536 CM5 will swap out 11th generation Tiger Lake processor options for a few AMD Ryzen chips and still place a palm-like, “obsidian velvet” 57Wh battery. Screen and Flip naming system, while replacing the white exterior for the Mineral Gray finish on the outside to complement the dark look. ->
Also, in a move we’ve never seen on Chromebooks before, the device has an orange highlighted button on the side of the device and an orange border around it. ASDW Buttons that further enhance the gameplay aesthetics While it’s not better or worse at getting the most out of cloud gaming than any other Chromebook, it’s a striking look that can attract quite a few buyers.

Availability of the new Chromebook will vary with the ASUS Chromebook Flip CX5 / C536 arriving in Q1, and the ASUS Chromebook CX9 and Chromebook Flip CM5 at some point in Q2 compared to last year’s single Chromebook. ASUS is ready to have a full suite of Chrome OS, and we are very excited to get them to use them in the coming weeks. Price is not set yet. But we’ll let you know when we know more.
