Fans at Camden Yards gave Trey Mancini a standing ovation Thursday at his first home at bat since his return from colon cancer.
He also received applause from Boston Red Sox players on the pitch. Mancini stripped his helmet to admire the applause.
Mancini then defeated the double-ground play and later scored in two Ryan Mount Castle’s home runs.
Mancini missed the shortened 2020 season of the outbreak after being diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer at last year’s spring practice.
