In terms of privacy, iOS 15 appears to have a new panel that highlights how apps use customer data. It appears to be built on the existing app tracking transparency policy introduced as part of iOS 14.5.
As customers and tech reviewers want a way to extract the increased performance from the advantages of the new iPad Pro, Apple is said to be working on home screen enhancements and updates for multitasking. together
Bloomberg said Apple plans a new design for multitasking that will “make multitasking easier.” Apple intends to make the iPad “more attractive” for advanced use, according to the report.
Reportedly, iOS 15 notifications will allow users to set flags (e.g. Sleep, Work, Drive) and have notifications behave differently in each mode. Incoming notification banners get a redesigned user interface on both iPhone and iPad, highlighting the auto-reply feature.
tvOS for Apple TV and watchOS for Apple Watch are described as getting ‘Improvements’ in user interface and health tracking, Bloomberg says it expects the new macOS version to be a minor release after last year’s UI overhaul that came with Big Sur.
As previously reported by Wall Street Journal’s Joanna Stern, Bloomberg said there will be a focus on new features for the Health and Messages apps.
