BREAKING: Guests can take mask-free outdoor photos at Walt Disney World from April 8th.

As of today, Walt Disney World has updated its website to reflect upcoming changes to its face mask policy:

All guests (2 years and older) and Cast Members are required to cover their faces, including those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine. Please bring your own face mask and wear it all the time except while eating or swimming. You can temporarily remove the face mask while eating, drinking, or taking pictures outdoors *, but be still and keep a reasonable distance during this time.

(* Starts April 8)

Walt Disney World is heavily compelled to wear masks while shooting in parks and elsewhere, but for now, as long as you have enough distance from others, you will be temporarily allowed to remove the mask to take outdoor photos. Obviously, this rule doesn̵

7;t apply to indoor locations where the COVID-19 epidemic is more difficult to mitigate.
