The Browns’ chief of staff, Callie Brownson, pleaded guilty to using the vehicle under the influence in a deal that would save her from prison.
Brownson pleaded guilty on Tuesday. The same day she was reportedly arrested on May 27.
According to Cleveland.com, Brownson was dismissed on two other counts. One charge for speeding and one for blood alcohol levels above .17. Brownson paid a $780 fine and court fine and received six driver license points suspended. she won’t go to jail
Brownson was pulled over for driving 55 mph in the 35 mph zone at 12:27 a.m. Her blood alcohol content was .2150, nearly three times the legal limit.
The Browns said they “Proper disciplinary action will be taken” Brownson may face disciplinary action in the league.
