Kimberly Fletcher, who is reportedly scheduled to speak at the “We The People: Patriot’s Day” rally, said she was “heartbroken” about the tragedy.
“I’m in Florida … for an event I speak tomorrow,” Fletcher wrote on Facebook on Saturday, The Sun reported.
“One of the supporters was flying in a private jet with some friends. The plane crashed and… there seemed to be no survivors,” she added. “Please pray for them. their family and the members of the church they are pastors.”
It is unclear which victims supported the Sunshine State event.
Lara, 66, last year donated at least $4,000 to the Trump Make America Great Again Committee and Donald J. Trump for President Inc. The Sun reported, citing Federal Election Commission data.
The Federal Aviation Administration told WTVF that the Cessna 501 departed Smyrna Rutherford County Airport before 11 a.m. for Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach, Florida.
People on flights are associated with the Remnant Fellowship Church, which Lara, author of “The Weigh Down Diet” founded in 1999, and some have compared it to a cult.
On Sunday, the church released the following statement:

Because she has a place in the hearts of millions around the world through her work with the Weigh Down Ministries and Remnant Fellowship Church, her wonderful and supportive husband, Joe Lara, will be missed too.

The plane is registered with JL&GL Productions LP, a partnership founded by Lara and her husband Jo, 58, who played Tarzan on television in the 1980s and 1990s, WTBVF reported.
