Miranda Lambert takes the stage at the 2021 CMT Music Awards.
The 37-year-old singer-songwriter was introduced by “Girls5Eva” star Busy Philipps, encouraging fans to Enjoy this number starring Jon Randall and Jack Ingram.
The trio performed Lambert’s hit song “Tequila Do” outdoors while sitting around a campfire.

The gentleman plays the guitar and provides backing vocals for the song.
“Usually every few years when it comes time to write We̵7;ll disappear and go to some pasture. And stay three days and light a fire and just write a song,” Lambert explains in a video package about the song. “Many people end up in Texas. Because you have three processors, we wrote ‘Tin Man’ together, so we shared a really special moment together. So write something like ‘Tequila Do,’ like, ‘Let’s write a fun song, let’s write a fun Texas honky tonk.'”
The song received rave reviews from viewers, including by Eli Young.

The trio will appear on “CMT Campfire Sessions” on the network on Thursday 8/7c to showcase more songs.
Lambert was one of the night’s top nominees for the night, making four totals before being eliminated from the ever-shrinking video of the year.

Her video “Settling Down” was nominated for both Female Video of the Year and Best Family Movie. which received an award from Taylor Swift for “The Best Day (Taylor’s Version)”.

Lambert was also recognized for her video for “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home),” which she shared with collaborator Elle King.
