Black Ops Cold War Zombies players have reportedly received an error code ‘Sail 630 Nuclear Bug’ and their accounts were permanently banned later.
Update – April 7: FoxHoundFPS, community manager for Treyarch, has posted an update on this issue to Reddit and confirmed that their team is investigating further. Despite several players saying they were banned for this error, he said players should review the enforcement policy for the ban and that the ban was not due to this bug.
We note that some players saw the Sailboat’s 630 nuclear fault message and then failed to connect while seeing the ban message. The prohibition message is not the result of a disconnect error. For questions about the enforcement policy, please visit this link.
I spoke to our team about the latest Sail 630 Nuclear Bug topics and reports and this is what I have to share.
Sail 630 nuclear error: This error string is currently presented instead of the standard disconnect language. When a disconnect occurs in the Zombies menu on the PC, PC players often see “The connection to the Blizzard game server has been lost. Please exit. And try again BLZBNTBGS000003F8. ”
We encourage players to keep playing Zombies as usual, including high-round pursuits and personal rewards.
In the early days of the Cold War, Black Ops, Zombies players were having their world record abruptly ending with constant disruptions. Now a new error code has pulled Zombies players back to the menu and they claim their accounts have been permanently banned when they log back in.
As of April 2nd, ̵6;Sail 630 Nuclear Bug’ has crashed PC gamers’ Zombies when they were at high levels.Reddit user Korlesa was accused of being banned after receiving this code and creating a post to highlight the issue.
In a post “People get banned incorrectly while high-rounds in zombie games on PC,” Korlesa explains, “After 50+ rounds of play, people get a“ Sail 630 Nuclear error. Bug “Upon exiting the Battle.net, we noticed that we were permanently banned.”
To back up their claims, Korlesa has put together more than 50 posts on the Activision support page where players claim they were falsely banned after acquiring the Sail 630 Nuclear Bug.
Korlesa summarizes these reports, highlighting what many have in common:
- They are on the pc
- They are playing zombies.
- They are in the high lap (50+).
- They get the same error (Sail 630 Nuclear Bug).
Several other players in the comments said they faced the same problem.XPGO users said that they were playing games with friends on their consoles, and in the 50th round only XPGO received the error code and Permanently banned later
Josh Torres, Treyarch’s Community Manager, known as FoxhoundFPS, responded to a Reddit post, “I can’t help with this problem,” he said. “All violations must go through a thorough review process by the security team before enforcement.”
As more and more players report the error code, Treyarch is likely to be aware of the problem. For players claiming their accounts were unfairly banned, whether they got their accounts back is still to be seen.
