Cook County Health released the first 30,000 vaccine shots Monday evening.



COOK COUNTY, Ill. – Cook County Health will conduct approximately 30,000 first vaccination appointments on Monday evening.

Appointments will be available at 6 PM for eligible persons under Phases 1A, 1B and 1C.

The launch is for appointments this week and includes the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at the Tinley Park Convention Center and the Pfizer vaccine at the Forest Park Community Vaccination Center, Des Plaines Community Vaccination Center, South Suburban College and Triton College.

All vaccinations must be appointed only by appointment. Can make an appointment at vaccine.cookcountyil.gov or call 833-308-1988, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM ̵

On Monday, 2,102 new COVID-19 cases and 11 additional deaths were reported.
