Humboldt County Public Health and other approved vaccines in the area have delivered 66,648 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, an increase of 9,322 doses since it was reported last week.

Vaccination data is updated in the Humboldt County Data Dashboard, some of the highlights include:

  • 26,085 local residents were fully vaccinated, accounting for 19.2% of the county’s total estimated population and about 23.2% of county residents aged 16 and over and currently qualify for the vaccination. Vaccine
  • Almost a third, or 31
    .6% of the county’s total population, has received at least one vaccine, meaning they have some protection against the virus.
  • Among the most at risk of serious illness – people aged 75 and older – 62.5% were fully vaccinated and 78.2% had at least one dose.

7 new cases reported today

All 3,507 Humboldt residents were tested positive for COVID-19 after seven new cases were reported today.

As of today, vaccination is available for the following age groups and working age groups:

  • Age 50 and over
  • Ages 16 to 64 are at high risk.
  • Food and Agriculture
  • Emergency services
  • K-12 and Early Childhood Education, Child Care
  • higher education
  • Health care
  • Other high-risk occupations
