Developer BioWare first teased the Dragon Age-related project in December 2018. Two years later, BioWare has officially confirmed that it is working on a fourth Dragon Age game, which is currently untitled. (Which henceforth will be called Dragon Age 4) since then. We also heard a little bit about the upcoming role-playing game.
With the Abandoned Anthem and Mass Effect: Legendary Edition now out. That’s why BioWare is now focusing on its next projects like Dragon Age 4 and a new, untitled Mass Effect game. So there’s a chance we’ll learn more about one of the games at E3 2021that’s just around the corner.
Below, we’ll cover everything we know about Dragon Age 4 today, including what we might see of the game at this year’s E3.
what we know so far
Right now, we know very little about Dragon Age 4-, we don’t even know what it’s called. But since the game’s announcement in December 2020, BioWare has revealed some details.
BioWare: Stories and Secrets, a book that captures the history of developers. It has been revealed that the main scene of Dragon Age 4 is Tevinter, which is exactly what Dragon Age: Inquisition’s Trespasser revealed. Although there are many references It is called a human country ruled by the Council of Magicians.
Moreover The report states that the planned multiplayer elements for Dragon Age 4 have been cut to make the game debut as a fully single-player RPG. Dragon Age 4 producer Christian Dailey has released concept images for the game.
What’s confirmed for E3 2021?
There are currently no plans to announce Dragon Age 4 for E3 2021. BioWare is currently not scheduled to appear at the conference.
Publisher Electronic Arts of Dragon Age 4 is set to host an event ahead of E3 (as it did a few years ago) on June 9th, but the headline game for the livestream is the new Battlefield. EA has yet to confirm. that there will be other games in this event Expected to keep it for EA Play Live on July 22nd.
What we hope to see at E3 2021
At this point, we’d like to see something concrete for Dragon Age 4, hopefully a new teaser trailer revealing the game’s name, as well as an official word from BioWare that the game isn’t multiplayer. (or if so It still feels like we’re a long way from actually seeing the gameplay, but obviously we wouldn’t object to the gameplay reveal if BioWare was ready to show it off.
Let’s just say EA’s June 9th events specifically geared towards the new Battlefield and nothing else. We look forward to seeing Dragon Age 4 show up during the Xbox and Bethesda shows on June 13. Xbox looks set to be a Western-style console RPG with first-person role-playing games like Fable and Avowed. Even Xbox Series X|S Xbox has also hosted a number of well-known third-party RPG developers at E3 over the past few years, including CD Projekt Red, so the Dragon Age 4 trailer will feel right at home on the Xbox & Bethesda stage.
personally If I can be selfish for a moment, I’d like to see BioWare announce that Dragon Age 4’s release time frame is 2022, which doesn’t match BioWare’s current release schedule for every two to three years of new games (Dragon Age: Inquisition in 2014, Mass Effect: Andromeda in 2017, Anthem in 2019, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition in 2021), but considering that Dragon Age 4 was first teased in 2018, I hope that will sink BioWare in the numbers. in moderation of development time into the game
