Sony stood out for the lack of such a list, and we reached out to the company for comment.Other major companies that were missing were EA (who just wanted to host their own EA Play around E3), Square Enix. , Sega, Bandai Namco, Tencent, 505 and Activision Blizzard.
The ESA explicitly states that the list of partners indicates “Early Obligation”, so other publishers and developers can join later. However, prior to the outbreak-related program canceled, Sony confirmed that there are no plans to attend E3 2020.After announcing that the show would be back only digitally, the E3 website promised a “four-day live press conference and video stream”; and said the show would be “the best ever”. “A digital experience that is reimagined and overloaded”
There are few concrete details on the show, but ESA President Stanley Pierre-Louis said, “We are developing this year’s E3 into a more inclusive event. But it will continue to excite fans with a major revelation and An insider opportunity that makes the event an indispensable center stage for video games. ”
What we do know for sure is that this work is totally free. After earlier it was reported that parts of E3 2021 could be placed behind a paywall, ESA told IGN that “E3’s 2021 digital show is free for all attendees.”
