She joked: ‘Portia made me sleep in another room on another bed because she wanted the bed in the car to be raised entirely by herself.

‘For the first three days I slept for 16 hours a day, and then on the fourth day I woke up with a spasm in my back so I thought I would pull on my muscles or sleep funny.

‘But still there was, so the doctor ordered me to take painkillers and muscle relaxants – Jackpot! Eventually this was all over.

‘Painkillers didn’t help, it felt like I had a broken rib. So they put me on steroids But it gets you very fast and frustrated. ‘

‘For the people who are struggling with illness now my heart goes out to them.’
