Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of the world’s most popular smart contract platform, the Ethereum blockchain, has officially become a crypto billionaire.
Buterin’s public ether address, which he describes as his 2018 primary wallet, touched $ 1 billion off balance after Ether surged above $ 3,000 on Monday.
At the time of writing, the address is valued at approximately 333,500 Ether (ETH), which is now worth $ 1.029 billion, according to online data from Etherscan, since ETH is more than four times the value of about $ 700 in early 2021.
