On the latest episode of the Triple Click podcast, renowned video game journalist Jason Schreier gave a brief talk. about the Far Cry series, most notably with Far Cry 6 and its appearance at E3 2021. In doing so, Schreier said he had heard briefly complaining about where Ubisoft was looking to make things happen in the future, and noted that the next game in the fandom would be “unexpected.”

No further information was given to Schreier about its appearance. But it tells us that Ubisoft seems to believe the series will be a bit more refreshing.At the moment, the Far Cry franchise is a franchise that was made very much for Ubisoft, although each installment is shaky in one way or another. All items dating back to Far Cry 3 has shared some fairly common DNA, so it makes sense to hear that Ubisoft will make big changes in the future.
