On the day of the UEFA football match European Championship 2020 on Monday Both Spain and Switzerland advanced to the semi-finals. The Swiss shock the 2018 World Cup champions France for the second day of the game. Switzerland overcame a two-goal deficit in the half after beating France 5-4 on penalties as French superstar Kylian Mbappe was the only player to miss from the spot.
The Spaniards beat Croatia 5-3 after extra time on the first day of the game. While Switzerland and France needed more than 120 minutes, both matches ended 3-3 in normal time.
France’s clash with Switzerland immediately went against expectations, with Haris Seferovic putting the Swiss ahead after a vicious defense by Clement Lenglet. The French released a new plan in the second half. But needing a penalty, Hugo Lloris saved from Ricardo Rodriguez to spark them life. Karim Benzema then fired a double ahead.
