Franz Wagner, a sophomore at the University of Michigan, who is the ninth-place prospect in ESPN’s Top 100, told ESPN he is entering the 2021 NBA draft.
Wagner, who plans to hire a representative, is the highest-rated player on the board of ESPN, who has not yet announced for the July draft.
Wagner 6ft 9ft led Wolverine to Elite Eight appearances and No. 1 in NCAA tournaments. Wagner, 19, averaged 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 47% shooting for Michigan. Wagner is considered one of the best defenders in the draft.
Wagner, a native of Germany, is the younger brother of another Michigan first-round pick, Moe Wagner of Orlando Magic.
