The most trusted member of the profession in the country, nurse, too.

Certain restaurants across the country are showing a little love for nurses by offering freebies and discounts for National Nursing Week, which officially kicks off Thursday with National Nurse’s Day.

This week goes through May 12, which is the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. Offer and entry dates vary by location.

Dunkin ‘, with over 9,000 locations in the United States, is one of the biggest deals on Nursing Day. On Thursday, health care workers showing ID will receive a free medium-sized hot or cold coffee at participating locations.

Cinco de Mayo 2021 Offers: Get a free Chipotle burrito, a free guacamole from ‘The Rock,’ and save on margaritas.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is also giving out 250,000 burrito codes free to nurses and healthcare workers while supplies last.

Analysis firm Gallup has recognized nursing as the most trusted profession for its integrity and ethical standards in its profession. In the most recent survey from 2020, nurses received a record 89% higher honesty and ethics scores, 4% higher than in 2019.

BAYADA Home Health Care: Until May 12, the nonprofit is hosting a “What Your Wish” giveaway on, with 50 nurses randomly selected to receive a prize package. The website also provides access to online expert speaker sessions, discussions, and a menu of virtual courses where nurses can earn up to seven free continuing education credits.

Biggby Coffee: Nurses will receive a free 16-ounce drink on demand Thursday with their medical ID. While the final retractable sign holder supplies will be given away as well.

Chipotle Mexican Grill: The unofficial chain of restaurants is giving free 250,000 burrito codes to nurses, healthcare providers and hospital providers while supplies run out. Register at Chipotle also. A free code, buy one, get one free until Friday as part of the Cinco de Mayo promotion.

Insomnia Cookies: TStarting May 9th, nurses will receive a free classic cookie with a job code, no purchase necessary. Or they can get a free six pack with any purchase.
