Disney recently announced that its popular Trail’s End restaurant, located at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, will reopen on July 17, just a few weeks away. Along with the announcement of the new opening, there are slight improvements.

The restaurant is now family-styled, and the popular fried chicken seems to have been removed from the menu. According to Disney Dinner menu includes: “Puppies and Cornbread in a Pan with Chopped Garden Salad for the Table. Family-style Smokehouse Skillet comes with smoked pecan brisket, roast chicken, andouille sausage. Meatball potatoes, green beans and buttered corn on the cob, pork ribs, peeled shrimp and breaded salmon as a complement to your meal.” And for dessert, “Ice cream, toppings, brownies, cookies and chocolate-covered bacon galore! Adults can kick back with Moonshine Cocktails.”
It is possible that fried chicken will be added later due to popular guest demand. Like the noodles at ̵
