Samsung hit the market with the release of the Galaxy S20 FE last year. The Fan Edition device has proven to be one of the most successful Samsung of the year, so it’s natural for the company to want to launch a sequel in the year. This and trying to catch the lightning in the bottle again.
It is assumed that the sequel should be called Galaxy S21 FEAnd, like last year’s predecessors, the upcoming model should be inspired by the premium Galaxy S lineup while still maintaining good value and a lower price tag.
There is hardly a doubt that Samsung will release the Galaxy S21 FE this year, at least the company has indirectly acknowledged that the phone exists when it comes to accidental phone calls on the official Samsung Mexico portal this week.
Either way, Samsung will have some steep hills to climb if it wants the Galaxy S21FE to become its 2020 successor, and it looks like the company has what it takes to achieve this, judging by the All leaked Here’s an overview of everything we know:
Galaxy S21 FE design and color options
As well as the design of the Galaxy S20 FE inspired by the three flagship Galaxy S20 flagship models, the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE is expected to feature a new design language similar to the Galaxy S21.
The leaked media suggests that the Galaxy S21 FE states that the phone will use the same design principles as the Galaxy S21 series, especially with respect to the camera body. It wraps around the top and sides of the device and hence looks less
SamMobile specifically reported a few months ago that the Galaxy S21 FE will be available in at least four color options: gray / silver, pink, purple and white. A fifth color – light green was also discovered a few weeks ago, along with some camera details.
Galaxy S21 FE hardware and camera specifications
The Galaxy S21 FE is expected to feature a triple camera combo on the back panel, although detailed specs are unknown. As far as the selfie camera works, it’s reportedly supposed to clock at 32MP, but only time will tell if it’s the same 32MP sensor used with the Galaxy S20 FE or its upgraded cameras.
Hardware details are not much. But there are battery specs out in mid-April.Based on this information, the Galaxy S21 FE should be powered by a 4,500mAh battery, just like the Galaxy S20 FE.
Battery life may be improved due to the use of more energy efficient components. Galaxy S21 FE chipset options are not yet confirmed. But it can offer phones with an Exynos 2100 and / or a Snapdragon 888 SoC, and have two storage options: 128GB and 256GB.
The device is expected to feature a 6.4 / 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a refresh rate of at least 90Hz, although 120Hz is a pretty safe bet as the Galaxy S20 FE already has this feature. The stereo speakers and IP rating should be the same for this course.
When will the Galaxy S21 FE be released?
The alleged roadmap, detailing Samsung’s plans for a 2021 launch, leaked last month and showing that the Galaxy S21 FE will be unveiled at a specific Unpacked event scheduled for. 19 August.
Leaked roadmaps may not always be the correct source for release date details. But it’s important to note about this roadmap is to forecast the date of the Galaxy Book Unpacked event with pinpoint accuracy. This adds credibility to the idea that August 19 is the day for Samsung to reveal the Galaxy S21 FE to the world.
Pricing details are not yet known, but the company expects it to remain true for the FE lineup and launch an upcoming model in the so-called price range. “The flagship killer”
