On Thursday night, actor, musician and supporter Demi Lovato introduced a heartwarming tribute to the great deceased. pleased Actress Naya Rivera Lovato is friends with Rivera’s Santana and also plays her boyfriend on the Fox music series.
This tribute honors the 10th anniversary when Santana debuted as a lesbian in the GLAAD Media award-winning series, as Lovato pointed out, this is an unconventional character for representing the LGBTQ group. Rivera’s mother, Yolanda Previtire, was unable to attend the tribute. But she shared the message, “Naya is very honored to receive this honor. When Naya told me that Santana was a lesbian, she called me to let me know and I asked her how she felt about that and she said. ‘I feel so good about it!’
“Little did we know that she would have an impact on a large number of people in the LGBTQ community,” continues Previtire. I don’t believe you realize how important you are to the world. I am grateful that my eldest daughter helped change the landscape of perspective and seeing one another, thanking GLAAD for keeping my daughter’s legacy alive. ”
