How popular did Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers get at Green Bay?
Amid recent discussions that Rodgers may soon leave town or even retire from the NFL, a local restaurant is doing the pitch to keep Rodgers where he is.
Mr Brews Taphouse said it would provide Rodgers and Shailene Woodley free food and beer for life if Rodgers ended their career as a Packer.
“Seriously, we can’t let Aaron go,” Mr. Brews founder and CEO Steve Day said in a press release, according to the Green Bay Press Gazette. But he’s coming out for another MVP season, but he’s the face of our beloved franchise. ”
AARON RODGERS referred to PACKERS GM as ̵6;JERRY KRAUSE’ in a message to the team: REPORT.
Rodgers signed a four-year contract extension with Packers for $ 134 million in August 2018, but Day said his restaurant chain couldn’t go any further than free food and drink deals.
“We can have him and Shailene eat delicious food and great beer whenever they want,” Day said. “Come on, Aaron, please.”
Rodgers, 37, is a Californian who has been with football since 2005, leading the team to the Super Bowl in February 2011 and won three MVP Leagues.
But Rodgers is reportedly unhappy with the team’s general manager Brian Gutekunst following the release of receiver Jake Kumerow after the 2019 season and with the 2020 draft Jordan Love.

The Rodgers report wanting to leave Green Bay has been criticized, including from retired Pittsburgh Steelers legend Terry Bradshaw.
Rodgers “should have retired,” Bradshaw said during a recent radio appearance, adding that Rodgers was accused of being unhappy with the team management’s decision making him look “weak”.
The Day of Mr. Brews, Taphouse hopes that the way to Rodgers’ heart is his stomach.
