Bridget Craker, a Green County public health educator, said: “We just want to make it as easy as possible for people to get vaccinated.
Half of people living in Green County received at least one COVID-19 vaccine as of Friday. More than 45 percent completed the series, according to the Wisconsin DHS.
Green County Public Health and Monroe Clinic are trying to reach people who are not yet included in that information.
“We have nurses on a farm in Green County. Direct nurses to do business and vaccinate employees. And you know that working with other community partners. to coordinate a clinic like this,” Cracker said.
A clinic like this where hundreds of people walk through the work for 15 minutes in the morning.
“Green County is very focused on agriculture. So we know there will be a lot of people here today who may be working during the week. and will not have the opportunity to come to the clinic,” said Rebecca Bordner, marketing and communications consultant at Monroe Clinic.
Kamholz said he was vaccinated today for the safety of himself and his community. He said completing this meant other activities such as Breakfast on the Farm could return to normal later.
“It’s time. We have to move forward. We have to make the country go forward again and in every part everyone does, every little bit helps us reach our ultimate goal,” Kamholz said.
