Greenville Expands Mask Order



On Thursday, the Greenville City Council unanimously resolved to expand an emergency ordinance requiring workers and customers to wear face masks within all retail establishments within the city limits, with the decree there. It is valid for 60 days, with first effective June 23, 2020, a Greenville Decree requiring masking inside grocery stores and drug stores in urban areas. Anyone who does not comply will be fined $ 25.It is also required that masked workers in the following businesses: restaurants, retail stores, barber shops and beauty salons. Anyone who fails to comply with this part of the ordinance will be fined $ 100. Anyone who cannot wear a mask safely due to his age, basic health condition, or who cannot remove the mask without help from someone. Else will be exempt from this law.
