THQ Nordic has released just three minutes of unedited Biomutant gameplay on five different platforms.
In each video, we see small differences in the same objective, with player characters running across lush worlds fighting guerrilla mini-bosses and their minions. The martial arts style combat system seems to be a lot of fun, and I especially love how guerrillas can grab players, drop them in the air, then whip them out – nice, smooth animations.
The gameplay on PC is in the video below:
The gameplay for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is in the video below:
And the gameplay for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X is in the video below:
THQ Nordic says PC video runs at 4k in 60fps, but the PC version isn̵7;t intelligently limited to framerate except for your monitor’s refresh rate and hardware.
Biomutant on PS4 and Xbox One runs at 1080p and 30fps with dynamic resolution on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X running at 1080p and 60fps with dynamic resolution.
Video for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will come out early next week, added THQ Nordic.
Bertie reviewed the Biomutant in February and spoke to Stefan Ljunqvist, Experiment 101 Director and Founder, to find out more. “Saturday morning there was something about biomutant that has always appealed to me,” wrote Bertie. “In case other open world games are scary, this game has so many colors that other games can get caught up in the gravel. This is light and full of power.”
Biomutant is due out on May 25.
