Honolulu will move to a Level 4 coronavirus restriction effective immediately, Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi announced this morning.
Blangiardi said the city had been approved by David Ige government to use a four-tiered city system with the least and final limits.
The change allowed social gatherings of up to 25 people in outdoor venues. including at parks and beaches city officials said But the group size for indoor social gatherings remains 10 people.
“We continue to move firmly as a community in the fight against the coronavirus, at this point vaccination is key to easing restrictions and hopefully ending all level systems,” Blangiardi said in a press release. “We are in this fight together. and if you haven̵7;t been vaccinated We recommend that you act as soon as possible.”
City officials have listed the following Level 4 modifications:
>> Allows outdoor social gatherings of up to 25 people;
>> Allows indoor social gatherings of up to 10 people;
>> Indoor sports are allowed Viewers are allowed up to 33% (subject to the Parks and Recreation Department’s permit and facility availability);
>> Commercial cruises are allowed without limitation on the number of seats. (Restaurant/Bar rules apply. if food/beverage is allowed)
>> Social establishments such as dance/night life/karaoke Up to 50% is allowed if all participants have been tested or provide proof of full vaccination.
>> Host an outdoor wedding for up to 200 people;
>> Indoor events such as concerts, conferences and events are allowed with a 50% mitigation and support plan provided all participants have been tested or provide proof of vaccination.
>> Allows outdoor events in locations with predetermined capacity limits. There is a 33% mitigation plan, or 67% capacity provided all participants have been tested or provide proof of complete vaccination.
>> Allows outdoor events in places that do not have a designated capacity But entry and exit are controlled with a relief plan of 30 people per 1,000 square feet, or 60 people per 1,000 square feet, provided all participants have been tested or provide proof of vaccination.
>> Allows unlimited number of seats in the arcade. (Restaurant/Bar rules apply. if food/beverage is allowed)
>> Road races and triathlons are permitted. default group size depending on the collection size
