Asked if Biden should take the face of Gerald Ford, who pardoned Richard Nixon in 1974, Comey replied, “I don’t know he should consider it,” as he said he was not sure Trump, who was reportedly stalked. Thinking of forgiving oneself to accept it, he adds, “As part of healing the country and taking us to a place where we can focus on things to go. Over the next four years I think Joe Biden will at least think about that. ”
Of course, the president̵7;s pardon will only protect Trump against federal allegations and not the many state crimes he is under investigation.
