George Clooney and Julia Roberts are on their way to Australia.
No – the actors are not repaying their roles as Danny and Tess Ocean for another heist, but fans of the pull-and-drag on-screen couple should be thrilled as Roberts and Tess Ocean. Clooney’s new rom-com “Ticket to Paradise,” is reportedly scheduled to hit theaters next year.
Distributed by Universal Pictures, the film is scheduled for a September 30, 2022 release according to Variety.
Meanwhile, the production is said to be supervised by Clooney and Grant Heslov under the actor’s Smokehouse Pictures banner, which the Oscar winner once directed for “The Midnight Sky.”;

Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will assist in producing the film alongside Sarah Harvey and Deborah Balderstone, respectively.

Additionally, the outlet reported Tuesday that “Ticket to Paradise” is expected to begin filming later this year and longtime friends will make Queensland Australia home during filming.
While filming in the South, filming will receive tax incentives from the Australian federal government and from Screen Queensland’s production attraction strategy.
The film will be directed by Ol Parker who directed “Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again” and co-written with Daniel Pipski, according to reports.
The story focuses on “Money Monster” co-stars as two ex-fans who find themselves on a mission to stop their beloved daughter from repeating past mistakes.

Roberts recently starred in and executive produced the first season of the Amazon Prime Original series “Homecoming” in the film. Her most recent role was “Ben Is Back” where she played the mother of a drug addict. As for Clooney, he directed and starred in the 2020 Netflix film “The Midnight Sky.”
Representatives for Clooney and Roberts did not immediately respond to Fox News’ requests for comment.
