The suspects were tied up and passengers on the plane credited the crew for helping the plane.
The flight must be diverted to Albuquerque. New Mexico The plane had to make an emergency landing around 2:20 p.m.
After a successful landing The passenger was arrested by airport police and taken to the FBI, a spokesman from Albuquerque International Sunport told FOX 11.
The FBI’s Alburquerque division confirmed they are responding to reports of the flight being diverted. It added that there was no threat to the public.
Delta Airlines has released the following statement: “Thanks to the crew and passengers of Delta Flight 386, LAX to Nashville (BNA), which assisted in detaining stubborn passengers as the flight diverted to Albuquerque (ABQ), the plane landed without accident and passengers were removed. Issued by law enforcement agencies We apologize to customers for any further delays.”
