Secretary General Alejandro Mayorkas said on Friday the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was “looking closely” about the vaccine passport for international travel.
“Good Morning America” host Michael Strahan asked the secretary if a vaccine passport might be required for the trip. “Either entering or leaving” the country
“We are examining that very closely,” replied Mayorkas.
“One of our principles guiding us through this outbreak is the value of diversity, equality and inclusion, and making sure everyone has access to the passports that we have prepared for vaccination and that no one else is. Was disqualified for authorization, “he continued.

CRUZ TALKS BILL TO BAN VACCINE PASSPORTS
A DHS spokesperson said the passport would easily help travelers meet the requirements of other countries.
“We have always said that we are always looking for ways to give Americans traveling abroad a quick and easy way to enter other countries. That̵7;s what the Secretary-General is referring to to ensure that all US travelers stay informed. It can easily achieve the predicted goals. There is no federal immunization database and no federal mandate requiring everyone to receive a single vaccination certificate, ‘a spokesperson told Fox News.
Alabama, GOV, Passes, Vaccine, Password, Ban, Ban
The White House insists the federal government will not support a system requiring Americans to carry vaccine passports. But let the business decide for themselves whether evidence of vaccination is needed.
Still, the talk of the vaccine passport, which some argue could speed up travel and the economy, will certainly generate the ire of Republicans GOP Gov. Georgia’s Brian Kemp and Greg Abbott of Texas. Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey signed a law this week banning businesses, schools, or any events requiring evidence of vaccination.
