Microsoft is bringing back swipeable widgets to Windows 10.

We already knew that Microsoft was working on Edge-based widgets for Windows 10, but now it looks like Microsoft intends to build them deeper into the operating system.

WalkingCat, a trusted leaker, reports that Microsoft is working on a widget that can be brought to the foreground by swiping from the edge of the screen. It’s like the shortcut bar in Windows 8.

There are also other methods Presumably there will be no touch in the widget display.

This idea could mean that Microsoft is giving tablet mode a little more attention in Windows 1

0. which until now has been greatly neglected.
