“Total Bellas” star Nikki Bella has expressed her “sorrow and shame” for portraying wrestling legend Joanie “Chyna” Laurer looking like a “man” in the re-released video.
The 2021 WWE Hall of Fame nominee, who wrestled alongside her twin sister Brie Bella until 2019, has issued an apology for her 2013 appearance on “Fashion Police” in the clip. Nikki Bella added: “Chyna will be remembered as an icon and pioneer in helping create opportunities for women in wrestling that exist today.”
Laure was nominated for the 2019 WWE Hall of Fame as a member of D-Generation X.

Laurer’s official Twitter account posted an apology for Nikki Bella, adding that the former wrestling star had also personally apologized.
“It’s sincere. Please stop attacking her. Her apology was also sent to her family,” the tweet read. “She grew up as a person, without any hatred or will. Please build and not demolish. Chyna believes in forgiveness.”
