The deadly COVID-19 outbreak at Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center has risen to more than 90, the Santa Clara County Department of Public Health said Tuesday.
There are at least 15 patients and at least 77 staff, with one additional staff still requiring laboratory verification.
On Christmas Day, workers in the air-powered tree uniform walked down the hallways of the emergency department at the Kaiser hospital, saying the “likely” clothing was responsible for employees receiving COVID-19, including the registrar at Kaiser. Died later
The health bureau said the source of the outbreak was still under investigation.
