The second wave of Covid-1

9 is devastating India, killing thousands of people each day and setting world records for daily infections.

Healthcare facilities are starting to lack oxygen, ventilators and beds in intensive care units. Workers have a thin body.

Countries around the world are rushing to help when bodies are piled up in morgue and crematorium. Some officers were forced to organize mass cremation at temporary locations.

“After the success of dealing with the first wave, the morale of the country is very high,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on his monthly radio program, “but this storm has shaken the nation.”
