according to the latest rumors Google’s next mid-range phone, the Pixel 5a, is slated for release sometime in August.
The Google Pixel 5a has a troubled pre-launch history. Since the initial leak, we feel that the Pixel 5a won’t be much different from the Pixel 4a 5G in size, shape, and design. Additionally, we’ve found evidence that the Pixel 5a will use the same Snapdragon 765 processor as the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5.
Before Google announced the phone and confirmed these details. The eye of the tech community also turned to the Pixel 6 model with the Google-built Whitechapel chip. Worse still, there were brief rumors that the Pixel 5a was completely discontinued. This is where Google chooses to directly argue.
