On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Pope’s ordination Pope Francis continually supports his service and describes him as the “Vatican Meditation” Praying for the Church and Diocese of Rome

Pope Francis on Tuesday said he was marking the anniversary. “The hat touches all of us: 70 years ago Pope Benedict was ordained a priest!”
The Pope addresses pilgrims in St Peter’s Square to pray about the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul. Patron Saint of Rome said, “Dear Benedict, dear father and brother. send our love our gratitude and intimacy.”
He told those present that the Pope lives in the monastery. “The place intended to be the home of the contemplative community here in the Vatican. so that they may pray for the Church.”
He is now contemplating the Vatican. The Pope continues who spent his whole life praying for the Church and Diocese of Rome. “Thank you, Benedict, dear father and brother. Thank you for your reliable witness. Thank you for your gaze Consistently directed towards the horizon of God: Thank you!”
;Day of Prayer and Contemplation for Lebanon
Pope Francis also recalled that the day after July 1, a special day of prayer and contemplation on Lebanon will take place in the Vatican.
“Together with the heads of all the churches in the land of Cedar We will let ourselves be inspired by the words of the Bible that say: God has a plan for peace.”
He reiterated the invitation for everyone to join in the spiritual prayer for “So that Lebanon will recover from the terrible crisis it is facing and show the world once again a confrontation of peace and hope.”
160 years “L’Osservatore Romano”
in Angelus’s post The Pope also said that Thursday, July 1, would be the 160th anniversary of the first publication of Osservatore Romano, Daily newspaper of the Vatican
