With reports suggesting that Nintendo will launch “Switch Pro” before E3, the web has been eagerly awaiting the news – and with that, we’ve gotten more details. (Unofficial) From the Spanish website Vandal.
This information comes from a Chinese jewelry manufacturer. (These guys have proven to be quite knowledgeable in the past) and Vandal’s history is good, but keep in mind that these are all current rumors.
According to the website, the Switch Pro is about the same size as the existing Switch, but the OLED screen is approximately 7 inches from corner to corner and has almost no bezels.
The current Joy-Cons will still be compatible with the new releases. But the annoying and flimsy stand is gone. Apparently, there̵7;s a Microsoft Surface-style cover plate, which is supposed to make for a more durable tabletop gaming experience. A Micro SD port is on the back of this flap. and easier to access this time
When it comes to the port Reports claim that it’s slightly thicker than the original, but it has x2 USB 3.0 ports and an Ethernet port – the latter will come in very handy for those who want the lowest latency when playing online. 4K output can be achieved using the dock.
Vandal expects Switch Pro to arrive in Europe in late November in limited quantities.
