Square Enix announced on Monday that A Legend of Mana anime is in the works.
Legend of Mana – The Teardrop Crystal is produced by Warner Bros. Japan (produced by MADHOUSE’s Mob Psycho 100), Graphinica Inc (Hellsing: The Dawn, Juni Taisen, and the final three episodes of Hellsing: Ultimate), and Yokohama Animation Lab.
Square Enix said the anime will follow the events of Legend of Mana and release teaser art along with the announcement. Check it out below.

Graphinica and Yokohama Animation Lab previously worked together on the Legend of Mana remake’s opening film, which you can check out below.
The anime is scheduled to air globally, but Square Enix hasn’t announced on which streaming platforms or release date.
Masaru Oyamada, producer of Mana series, said, “When the animation project was first presented to me. The ‘Legend of Mana’ remaster isn’t even under discussion. “At first, I attended the meeting without thinking deeply. But when Mr. Yawata from Warner Bros. Japan passionately presented the ‘Legend of Mana’ animation project (with a lot of love), I realized I had to make the game as soon as possible. Rumor has it that this is the beginning of the HD remaster project, Legend of Mana fans please rest assured. The people involved in the project still have the same love of the series back then.”
Seth Macy from IGN delivers Legend of Mana seven out of 10 rebuilds.Call it a “modern and beautiful rendering of classic PlayStation games” while retaining many of the original issues.
Square Enix also announced that Trials of Mana remake will release on Android and iOS devices on July 15th, featuring touch controls and customizable graphics settings.
A new free-to-play action RPG called “Echoes of Mana” is coming to mobile devices in 2022, introducing a new storyline that brings together new and old characters. along with multiplayer mode The trailer shows what appears to be characters from Adventures, Trials, and Secrets of Mana.
