A gunman is suspected of a mass shooting in a train yard in San Jose. California, this week had an armory and ammunition at his home before it was set on fire.
The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that law enforcement agencies found 12 firearms and about 22,000 rounds of ammunition, including cans of “several” gasoline and Molotov cocktails.

police said The destruction of the house is believed to coincide with the mass shooting that left nine people dead.
Police are still working to determine the motive behind the shooting. But law enforcement identified the shooter as Sam Cassidy.
Authorities said some of the victims were employees at the Valley Transportation Authority site where the shooting took place. Cassidy works at the factory as well.
The shooting led to calls for gun control from California lawmakers. which lamented the mass shootings that have shaken the country since January.
“Wrong with us?” California Gov. Gavin News (D) said this week when referring to the San Jose shooting.
“So when are we going to deal with this? When will we put our arms down — literally and metaphorically — our politics? Outdated rhetoric, pointing fingers, all waving. The shock produced nothing but anger and frustration … over and over,” he said.
