As reported by Chicago Tribune’s Dan Wiederer, The Bears will serve as head coach Matt Nagy and general manager Ryan Pace for the 2021 season.
This has been a question Bears fans have been debating throughout the season. But we seem to have an answer.
However, the biggest surprise, however, is the status of defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network that Pagano has decided to retire.
There is no saying whether the Bears will keep him next season.Nagy brought Pagano in to serve as defensive coordinator in 2019 after Vic Fangio left as head coach of the Broncos.
Prior to Pagano hiring in 2018, the Bears were allowed to score defensive points first. They’ve nosedive since then, dropping to No. 4 in 2019 and 14 in 2020.
Pagano will call it quitting after a 26-year coaching career, including nine in the NFL.
Although it was the end of the line in Chicago for many famous players, Nagy and Pace undoubtedly entered the most important moment in their tenure. Many questions remain unanswered at Halas Hall.
