Samsung has been guilty of releasing a product with weird long names from time to time.Remember the Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch from 2011? Or even the Galaxy S20 FE 5G UW from last year? It looks like the company wants to carry on that tradition with the upcoming midrange tablet launch.
The company will soon release a downgraded version of the Galaxy Tab S7 +, and it is rumored that it could be called the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite. Roland Quandt (@rquandt) claims the tablet will be called the Galaxy Tab S7 + Lite.Yes, it’s the right thing. There’s a “+” and “Lite” in the same name, which doesn’t seem reasonable to us. We guess the name has to be meaningful to someone on Samsung.
Coming back to the device, expect a 12.4-inch IPS LCD screen and an S Pen.The Galaxy Tab S7 + Lite will run Android 11 (with One UI 3.1) out of the box and will come with a Snapdragon 750G processor, 4GB of RAM. It comes in four colors: black, green (or light green), pink and silver.
Rumor has it that the upcoming tablet will be available in Wi-Fi only, 4G LTE and 5G models. We can also expect other features such as AKG-tuned stereo speakers, metal body, dual camera setup. Built-in GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port and a large battery with fast charging 15W Galaxy Tab S7 + Lite is expected to launch sometime next month.
