SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – San Francisco police said three young men smashed glass in front of a jewelry store on Washington Street in Chinatown around 11am on Saturday and stole jewelry from inside.
The shopkeeper, who is on 800 Washington Street blocks, told officials that three men had approached his store window, according to public information officer Adam Lobsinger, a man who is thought to be 20 years old, then smashed the window with something that might It was a hammer, and the other two took several pieces from the business, according to the statement. The three then escaped on foot, Lobsinger said.
A 14-second video of the event was published on Twitter on Saturday without attribution and no information on its exact location. In there, the three attackers fled through a two-door alley away from the shop.
