The New York Times, The Washington Post and NBC News faced a wave of criticism Monday after an edit over the weekend they released about their misrepresentation that Rudy Giuliani was warned by the FBI that He was the target of a Russian disinformation campaign.
A story about the alleged warning was released following the April 29 attack by the FBI at the former New York Mayor’s Manhattan apartment as part of an ongoing investigation into his breach of the law. Or not while lobbying on behalf of Ukrainian officials in 2019.

Each of the stores cited an anonymous source when revealing the FBI̵7;s never-ending warning, urging Giuliani to urge them to disclose who their source was following the retraction.
All three stores were quickly called on social media for inaccurate reporting, with some skeptical of the standards used to censor information from anonymous sources, and others called for. Stores “burned” source.
While discussing Monday’s delisting, Fox News media analyst Howard Kurtz called the false report. It was described as a “big mistake” and explained that news organizations had the right to reveal the identity of anonymous sources if they considered the source to lie when sharing information.

Fox News contributors and The Hill’s Joe Concha also broke the misrepresentation and use of anonymous sources, urging merchants to disclose the sources. He then cited a 2018 Axios poll that said 75% of Americans believed the “original primary source” reported what they knew. “False, false or intentionally misleading”
“More” co-host Kayleigh McEnany echoed Concha’s cited survey data, calling it “more”. “Special numbers,” she said. “There was an epidemic in American journalism and it was an anonymous acquisition.”
