The estimated range for the number of COVID-19 “R” reproduction in England has gone up, the UK health ministry said Friday and estimated between 0.8 and 1.1.
The R value ranged from 0.8 to 1.1, meaning that on average, every 10 infected people were infected between 8 and 11, compared to a range of 0.8 to 1.0 last week.
One of the above R numbers indicates an increase in the outbreak, although government scientists say closely watched statistics mean less when the prevalence of the infection is low. From in england
The health ministry said the latest daily growth rate of COVID-19 was between -4% and -1%, compared to -5% to -1% last week.
