Another million Americans can expect additional COVID-19 mitigation checks.
As part of America’s Assistance Plan, 460,000 taxpayers are now eligible for more money once their 2020 returns have been processed.
This includes individuals or households who do not qualify for a stimulus check based on their 2019 income or have less than they should be.
The so-called “plus” payment, which began on Wednesday, will apply to people with significantly less income in 2020 than they did in 2019.
Additionally, parents who have children or add dependents between 2019 and 2020.
This is the ninth batch of COVID-boosting payments under President Joe Biden’s plan, and the funds can be used by direct deposit or check.
