The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 will run Wear OS, but sugar tracking will be off in the menu.

Another week of new rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch Active 4.

We are very excited about what could cause this seismic change in Samsung’s line of smartwatches, and as rumors are always being reported, there are caveats. But it’s also part of the fun of a big tech rollout, and this might be the most wearable device in years.

Just a lot of rumors about the Galaxy Watch 4 release brought this one close, and now another scammer has thrown their hat into the Twitter tipster circle @FrontTron has spotted a code name associated with Galaxy. Watch 4 in Korean cell phone operators database

Which includes:

  • Active4 watch (39 mm, SM-R865N)
  • Active4 watch (43 mm, SM-R875N)
  • Watch4 (41
    mm, SM-R885N)
  • Watch4 (45 mm, SM-R895N)

You’ll notice that those sizes don’t count against the rumors from last week that we suggested taking with a little salt. These reports suggest that the Watch 4 will increase to 46mm and the Active 4 will debut in 40mm and 42mm sizes.

However, concurrent reports from Korean website Money Today made repeated claims.

Money Today also predicts that there will be no widely rumored blood glucose monitors available, which doesn’t seem like much of a surprise, it looks like Samsung is leading the competition in this space. But it’s not surprising that the technology doesn’t hit the ground for its 2021 launch.

And that brings us neatly into the release date, MT reports that the Galaxy Watch 4 is in the “July or August” launch phase. Earlier rumors point a little earlier for a smartwatch. A new Samsung pair, nominated in June August will count against earlier Galaxy Watch launches, and it looks like a safe bet.

And finally, Money Today cited sources who said Samsung would move to Wear OS due to complications.

After a month of silence, we’re now getting a lot of similar rumors about the launch of the Galaxy Watch 4 pair, and it looks like the momentum is coming together.
