Farrakhan Muhammad was arrested in Florida by U.S. Marshals and members of the New York / New Jersey Regional Refugee Agency as he dined in a McDonald’s car park in Starke, Florida, just outside Jacksonville.

The 31-year-old defendant fired a weapon in Times Square on Saturday while aiming at his own brother.
He was known in Times Square frequently for delivering illegal CDs, and he has been arrested several times in recent years.
He was charged on October 17, 2018, of harassing a 25-year-old woman over the phone and sending threatening text messages.
On March 17, 2018, he was arrested for aggravated harassment in Midtown and on March 14, 2020, he was arrested for assault in Midtown.
Between 2007 and 2015, he was arrested seven times for a range of robberies, mass fraud and cheating.

Mayor Bill de Blasio said he did not believe the shooting would indicate a bigger problem.
There are additional officers in the city’s 20 largest subway stations in addition to stations in and around Times Square, but even the NYPD has a well-trained Critical Response Officer, the Police Commissioner. Dermot Shea said he did not believe the police would stop. Filmed on Saturday.

The three of them were discharged from the hospital and are in recovery.
Agent Alyssa Vogel carried the four-year-old victim to the ambulance after the shooting and spoke about the incident on “Good Morning America”.
The 4-year-old had surgery and is now able to go home. Her grandmother expressed her gratitude to Eyewitness News that the young girl was released.
Another victim, 23-year-old tourist, Wendy Magrinot, spoke to Eyewitness News by phone and said she thought she was dying.
“I was able to run like five steps, and I told my mother to take the child to run,” Magrinot said. ‘I got shot, I’m 2 years old, I don’t want to die, Pease help me.’ ‘
She also said she has no plans to return to New York City anytime soon.
Marcela Aldana, who was shopping with her daughter when she was shot, said her prognosis was good. But she didn’t know when she could return to work to support her family.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo said the shooting was “More damaging” because it is a higher image.
“Times Square has high publicity, more people have heard of it,” he said. “Times Square is a tourist attraction, Times Square is the symbol of New York City. Is it more damaging? Yes, just because. It only communicates with more people. “
